Hamilton County's INSPIRE Youth Initiative provides grants of up to $5,000 to grass-roots organizations, neighborhood groups, churches, non-profits, youth agencies and others to help provide activities that improve the physical, mental, and social health of Hamilton County youth in low- to moderate income communities. This unique grant program allows these groups to tell Hamilton County where the gaps are in youth assistance and receive immediate help.
Research has shown that social determinants of health in low- and moderate-income communities include a wide range of issues that need to be addressed, including economic circumstances, physical living conditions, access to quality education, access to effective healthcare, family systems, and supportive social and community activities.
This grant program allows these groups to tell Hamilton County how it can help them. Eligible activities for this program include, but are not limited to, social club activities, uniforms, sports teams, or other competitive activities or equipment, and cultural, natural, or historic outings to name a few.
The goal of this new grant program is to help support creative and effective methods that empower youth to learn more, aspire for more, and experience real success in their lives.
Currently the INSPIRE Youth Initiative Grants are being processed. Further applications are not being accepted at this time. All applications that have been received are under review. If you have already applied for the INSPIRE Youth Initiative Grant you will be contacted soon.
