Course Description: Employees play a key role in the success of the organization by adhering to a set of behavioral standards. The focus of this course is on ensuring a work environment in which everyone can work without the obstacles that arise when employees behave inappropriately. Course Description: Employees who complete and pass the course earn American Heart Association certification in Adult CPR, AED, First Aid, Child CPR and Infant CPR.

Course Description: This course is designed for employees who write ongoing case notes, running records about their interactions with clients, or notes about activity with client cases. Participants will learn: 1) Why it's important to create and maintain professional ongoing documentation and 2) How to write timely, clear, accurate, and professional documentation of events so anyone can read it and understand what has happened.
Available For: Any employees who write ongoing documentation involving client case files.

E-Learning

E-Learning is a series of internet-based courses that you access from any PC or mobile device that has an internet connection, anytime that is convenient for you. These courses are available for Hamilton County employees who want to enhance their job-related skills. E-Learning courses support employees' development in each of the competencies shown on the right.

To register for E-Learning Courses, follow these steps:

1.    Get your supervisor's permission to register.

2.    Ask your Training Coordinator to register you. If your department requires a REGISTRATION FORM, please click on the link above for the current quarter's form.

3.    Watch for an e-mail letter with instructions for getting started.

Adjunct Instructors

While some HRD classes are taught by HRD staff, many classes are taught by Adjunct Instructors. Adjunct Instructors are County employees who make time to instruct a couple classes each quarter. Their time is donated by their organization, in support of the HRD program. Hamilton County organizations that contribute to the HRD program by donating the time and expertise of adjunct instructors are listed on the right.

Thanks to their support of the program, HRD classes are available for all County employees. Their contribution is important to the County's HRD efforts and is much appreciated!
