He is one of the longest serving Commissioners in Hamilton County's history. Commissioner Todd Portune was first elected to the Board of County Commissioners in November of 2000. In September of 2019, Portune announced he was stepping down at the end of the year to battle cancer.

Lower Sewer Bill for Low-Income Seniors Coming Soon

County Commissioners passed a resolution that provides a 25% discount to low-income seniors who qualify on their sewer bill. To be eligible, applicants must be 65 or older, own, occupy, pay bill, and make less than $32,800.
